C-73.2, r. 8 - Regulation respecting broker’s and agency licences

3. A real estate broker’s licence restricted to residential brokerage authorizes its holder to engage in a brokerage transaction described in section 3.1 of the Real Estate Brokerage Act (chapter C-73.2) respecting
(1)  part or all of a chiefly residential immovable comprising less than 5 dwellings, or a vacant residential lot; and
(2)  a fraction of a residential immovable that is the subject of an agreement or declaration under articles 1009 to 1109 of the Civil Code.
The licence allows the holder to act as an intermediary for the leasing of a dwelling, regardless of the number of dwellings in the immovable.
The licence also authorizes its holder to give a client, in accordance with the conditions set out in the Act respecting the distribution of financial products and services (chapter D-9.2) and the regulations, the name and contact information of a person or partnership offering loans secured by immovable hypothec or to otherwise put them in contact with one another.

(1)  part or all of a chiefly residential immovable comprising less than 5 dwellings, or a vacant residential lot; and
(2)  a fraction of a residential immovable that is the subject of an agreement or declaration under articles 1009 to 1109 of the Civil Code.
The licence allows the holder to act as an intermediary for the leasing of a dwelling, regardless of the number of dwellings in the immovable.
